Community & Education
We believe the future of live sound starts with education. That's why we invest our time, expertise, and resources in training programs that give young people real-world skills.
We co-created workforce curriculum with Youth on Record, a Denver nonprofit that empowers Colorado's underserved youth through music education. Since 2008, Youth on Record has been bringing the state's most respected musicians into classrooms and youth residential treatment centers, using the power of music to inspire graduation and build career-ready skills.
Our collaboration focuses on live sound engineering — giving students the technical foundation they need to pursue careers in audio production, from signal flow and microphone technique to mixing and system setup.
The PACE Center in Parker, Colorado is home to our live sound intensive workshops. These focused training sessions cover everything from the fundamentals of audio engineering to advanced mixing techniques, all in a hands-on environment using professional equipment.
Students work with real gear in real venues, learning by doing — the same way our team learned. Whether someone is exploring audio as a potential career or simply wants to understand the technology behind great sound, our intensives provide a welcoming, rigorous learning experience.
Our Philosophy
We don't do lecture-only education. Every session puts students behind real consoles, with real microphones, in real venues. The muscle memory of hands-on work is what builds confident, capable engineers.
Our instructors aren't just teachers — they're active professionals. Students learn from engineers who are currently working stages, tours, and corporate events across the country.
Colorado's arts scene thrives when its technical workforce is strong. By investing in education now, we're ensuring that local events, venues, and artists have access to world-class sound for years to come.
Whether you're a student, parent, school, or organization — let's connect.
